What is The Comprehensive Plan?
Dripping Springs has been managing rapid growth for many years, and this growth is expected to continue. The City has worked hard to protect community values and quality of life in the face of this growth by implementing and updating City regulations as needed.

To help with the growing demands of the City and plan for the future, the City is updating its Comprehensive Plan for Dripping Springs. The Plan is a guide for growth and development in the City and is an update to the previous comprehensive plan, which was adopted in January 2015.
HERITAGE - COMMUNITY-PROGRESS
We want to maintain the wonderful heritage of Dripping Springs while also planning for the future! Our Comprehensive Plan - Reimagine Dripping Springs Initiative is a visioning process that will establish a guiding framework for development in Dripping Springs. Through this initiative and the updated Comprehensive Plan, the City hopes to establish priorities for the area’s future land use, major development projects, transportation, and parks.
